WooSarap: Enjoy Sumptuous Baked Samgyupsal at Home

Did you know that cooking doesn’t just kill boredom but also boosts creativity and relieves stress? It has become a way of coping up with cabin fever for many. Today, it's better and safer to eat at home than outside. This is one reason a lot of people started spending more time experimenting in the kitchen.

For the owners of WooSarap, it was during the quarantine that they discovered their greatest kitchen creation.

“Express” Samgyupsal

WooSarap started in late April this year during the ongoing quarantine. The owners were stuck at home and feeling bored more than ever. It was also a tough time because they were barely receiving any income. However, as they say, the most fascinating results come from challenges.

Like many people, they spent the quarantine ordering and trying out different quarantine food trends. Eating out used to be a weekend ritual for them and what they usually have was Korean BBQ. For them, nothing beats the combination of grilled meat in melted cheese, kimchi, and rice wrapped in lettuce, and then dipped in different kinds of sauces.

They attempted doing K-bbq at home but realized that the cleanup after was not worth it. This was when they decided to make an “express” version of Samgyupsal by creating a baked version of it.

Every Tray Made Meticulously

The level of meticulousness put in every tray of Baked Samgyup is what makes WooSarap special. Their best-selling Baked Samgyup consists of Japanese rice, torched marinated USDA beef, kimchi, special Korean cheese sauce, and roasted seaweed.

They don’t do shortcuts nor pre-cook the ingredients they’ll be using for the week. WooSarap makes everything the day itself, only serving freshly cooked trays to customers. The owners would love to earn more by accepting a lot of orders but they believe doing so can compromise the quality of their products. Plenty of love, care, and effort goes into each tray.
