Mutsarap: Home of the Famous Chinese-Style Fried Chicken

Special Family Recipe

Mutsarap started as a take-away restaurant in 1980. The owners take pride in their family’s recipe of Chinese-style fried chicken that is best paired with their special sauce. They initially began selling their products in front of their house.

People in the neighborhood loved it and as their business grew, they were able to open their first store in Binondo.

Over the years, they have gradually added more items on their menu. Soon, their pansit canton also became a best-seller.

More Than Just Fried Chicken

Mutsarap constantly tries to add new dishes to serve to their customers. In fact, they are now offering chicken salad spread, that’s great for sandwiches and as a salad dressing or dip.

Another new addition from the restaurant is their skinless pork longganisa.

Fun fact: Mutsarap’s new skinless pork longganisa is handmade in small batches by the owner’s grandmother. This new product is made without preservatives, MSG, and extenders. It has the perfect balance of sweetness, saltiness, and garlic taste that both kids and adults would love. Let’s face it, Filipinos love to eat breakfast food at any time of the day.
