The Beginning of A Perennial Cafe

Driven by their love for coffee dates and wonderful experiences of having a close-knit clan who center celebrations on good food and conversations, mother and daughter Ajie and Hana opened a small café in Marikina in 2012.

They wanted to offer the same warmth they share in their family to others. Working hand in hand, Cafe Perene promises limitless unforgettable memories from simple, little things.

Must-try Food Trays and Desserts

Just like home, they keep their food healthy by using only fresh ingredients with no preservatives added. They offer delish food trays good for family gatherings or party events. Their roster of dishes includes pasta such as carbonara, lasagna, and pesto with gourmet tuyo, and meat dishes like buffalo wings, pork salpicao, and roast beef, among others. Cafe Perene also serves tasty Forget Me Not burgers, one of their signature dishes.

In 2014, Cafe Perene began baking their own cakes—mostly cheesecakes. Among their varieties of cake, the Nutella Cheesecake is the one closest to their hearts as it is the first that sets the standards for their succeeding sweet confections. It is a flourless cheesecake made indulgent but not too sweet with high-quality ingredients.

Taking pride in its flavorful cakes, Cafe Perene‘s lime and premium dark chocolate cakes are also a must-try, whether for an afternoon snack or a gift to cake lovers, kids, and adults alike.
