Aburi Mama started in early May. One day, the owner had leftover sushi rice from the previous night’s dinner. She then saw someone making baked sushi on the internet and realized she can give the dish a try because she has all the ingredients at home. It was when she learned how to make Baked Salmon Aburi Rice, the first picture on the shop’s Instagram page.

Nothing makes the owner of Aburi Mama happier than seeing others enjoying her creations. She’s fascinated with the idea of making something that she can share with everyone. All the food she makes holds a special place in her heart because they were her original ideas.

We highly recommend the shop’s Cheesy Salmon Aburi and Unagi and Ikura Eggsplosion. Another must-try is the Bang Bang Scallops Aburi, made with Korean rice and five kinds of eggs.
