Can we all just agree that It’s Okay Not to Be Okay is an instant hit? The Korean Netflix series is all about brothers Sang Tae and Gang Tae, and writer, Moon Yeong. While these three characters barely have anything in common, they click effortlessly.

You’ll notice how much effort they spent with the shots, cuts, edit, animation, and especially the storyline of the show. Besides its aesthetic, another thing that took our attention is their food. We'll be sharing some of them in this blog post.
Jjampong
Korean spicy seafood noodle soup is ideal for those who love hot and fiery food.

Many are afraid Jjampong is too spicy for them to handle because of how red it looks. However, many find the soup's taste comforting and addictive. It has fresh noodles, vegetables, different kinds of seafood, and a spicy soup base.

This dish is what the brothers and their mom would eat while in the market. It’s as if Gang Tae goes back in time every time he takes a bite of these noodles.
Pizza Alvolo
You’ve not only seen this eye-catching pizza in IOTNBO but also Hotel de Luna.

In the show, Gang Tae’s best friend, Jae Soo owns a branch of Pizza Alvolo. We guarantee that your eyes will be glued to the screen once you see this shop's pizzas. One box of pizza contains different unique and intriguing flavors.

This pizza is often what we see on the show. How can you not crave for pizza after seeing those eight interesting-looking slices?
Seaweed Soup
The main ingredients of seaweed soup are brown seaweed or Japanese wakame, meat or seafood, and light seasoning.

Koreans typically serve it during birthdays and for someone who has just given birth. This is because seaweed can help with recovery and the production of breast milk.

In the early episodes Soon Deok told Moon Yeong that she can come over to their place for a meal. So during Moon Yeong’s birthday, she went to the house of OK Psychiatric Hospital’s chef and requested for seaweed soup.
