Throughout the years, some of our favorite Filipino food fade out until they become a memory. Looking back on the good old days, here’s a list of five well-known and well-loved snacks we just couldn’t forget.

Maggi Pinoy-style Spaghetti

Sweet and saucy, Filipino-style spaghetti is one of the kids’ favorite food. To make it easier for the moms to prepare the delicious meal, Maggi launched its instant Pinoy-style Spaghetti in the early 2000s, making every kid “nagpapakabait para sa sarap.”
Jollibee’s Ice Crazed

Jollibee is among the top fast food chains in the Philippines that has been serving various Filipino food favorites throughout the years. One of which is the delectable Ice Crazed, the Pinoy version of Korean bingsu. These are shaved ice dessert with sweet toppings and comes in different flavors: mais con yelo, coffee jelly, ube keso, mango caramel, and fruit salad but only for a limited time.
McDonald’s McRice Burger

A burger with an Asian flare! McDonald’s McRice Burger is a meal that lets every Asian enjoys their rice meal while on the go. Instead of burger buns, it has pressed and roasted to golden brown rice patties topped with sesame seeds. For the actual patty, you can choose from either beef or chicken fillet to go along with the lettuce, onions, and condiments.
JOVI Nata De Coco Juice Drink

JOVI Nata De Coco Juice Drink’s has been the kids’ favorite thirst quenchers back in the 90s. These are citrus flavored juice drinks blended with real chunks of nata de coco.
Greenwich’s Snack n’ Sip

Popularly known as a pizzeria, Greenwich offered Snack n’ Sip, pizza fries with a medium-sized drink. The idea was to put a snack and a drink in one tumbler, making it a perfect meal for people craving for a quick bite. The crowd loved the idea as it is very convenient and affordable.
