Most of us have hobbies that help combat stress. Sometimes when work or studies become too overwhelming, doing something different is just what you need to refresh your mind.

For Angelyn, baking was a pastime that eventually turned into a business. 

It All Started as a Stress Reliever

Being a law student is not easy and one way Angelyn coped with its stress and pressure is through baking. Thanks to online videos and recipes, she learned how to bake even without formal lessons. At first, she wasn’t confident with her skills, so the only person who was able to try her treats was her then-boyfriend and now fiancé. 

While indulging in the cookies she made, they were discussing how to further improve the taste of her baked goods. They were also talking about the possibility of selling her creations. However, that plan didn’t immediately come to life as she was busy with law school and her fiancé with being a professor. 

The more stressful law school became, the more Angelyn baked. She and her fiance then shared these treats with their friends. Word spread about how delicious her cookies and pastries were. Now, they have sold and donated hundreds of products. 

Products of Passion and Dedication 

Every pastry that Angelyn makes is a product of passion and dedication. Since she has no formal experience nor education in baking, she gives her all when making her sweet treats. She believes that her perseverance and commitment to improving her baking products is what makes their business stand out. 

#OnTheGList and the product the closest to her heart is her first creation, the Choco Chip Cookie. She hasn’t changed anything with the original recipe and it’s also one of her shop’s best sellers. But you can also order other cookie flavors like matcha and red velvet. Other baked products she offers include carrot cake, banana bread, and ube cheese pandesal. Seeing how people enjoy her treats makes all her hard work worth it.
